AITHON PV33 fireproof paint for wooden structures

AITHON PV33 is a transparent, water-based, heat-expanding fireproof paint for wooden structures and is classified according to ENV 13381-7 (R15, R30, R45 and R60) and EN 13501-1 (B-s1-d0).

At room temperature, the paint enhances the natural appearance of the wood, but in the event of a fire, it swells, forming a thick microcellular foam layer that acts as an insulating shield between the flame and the wood.

·       Classified R15, R30, R45, R60 according to ENV 13381-7 for wooden beams, columns, floors, and load-bearing walls;

·       Classified B-s1-d0 according to EN 13501-1 for all types of wood with a density above 390 Kg/m2 and a thickness of at least 10mm;

·       “A” class certificate regarding VOC emissions;

·       AITHON PV33 must be covered with a topcoat of AITHON F3 (solvent-based) or AITHON F3A (water-based).

AITHON F3, transparent solvent-based topcoat, with a warm wax-like satin finish.

AITHON F3A, transparent water-based topcoat, with a warm wax-like semi-matte finish and high UV resistance. The topcoat can be tinted to achieve the desired RAL shade.
